• Re-organizing what you have to make it fit your routine and lifestyle

When someone talks about 'organizing' we often think of tossing old things away and getting rid of 'too much stuff' - but organizing can also mean simply taking what you have, and rearranging it in a way that suits your household

• Decluttering and/or Downsizing

In this scenario, we need to get rid of possessions that are no longer serving a purpose, will not fit in your new home, or have sentimental value.

This last one can be devastating to think about.  Being a sentimental person myself, I understand.  While I never force or require someone to depart with a beloved treasure - even if it's a potato chip bag from your first road trip to a Mennonite Market with your now husband (yes, we have it in our memento box) - I will tenderly ask questions to challenge you as to why you must hold on to this item.

• Packing for a move/Unpacking

Moving from one home to the next is quite taxing emotionally and physically (even when it's an exciting transition).  This is where I can come in and lighten the burden a little bit.  Maybe it's just needing an extra hand to help pack up the kitchen, or you need someone to do it FOR you.  

Or maybe the daunting part is arranging furniture and other belongings in a new, blank space.  The boxes stare at you day after day waiting to be opened.  I can help you not just unpack, but figure out which drawer to put the silverware in, where to place the toaster oven, and the best placement for the bookcase.  

• Paper, Mail, Photos, etc

Paper, mail and Documents, Oh My!  How do we accumulate so many documents? It happens to all of us.  

Do you find yourself hunting for the unpaid medical bill, that family recipe your Aunt Bessie gave you at the last reunion, or staring at the box of photos from 1990 that you promise to take care of 'one day'?  

We can tackle this clutter once and for all!  But, I will be honest here -  It will take ongoing maintenance.  However, once you have a system in place, it WILL be much more manageable.

Who doesn't need more time in their day?  This issue is often resolved by addressing the items above.  Other times, it takes a bit more intentionality.  Let's create a system that works for you!
